Buying a JDM vehicle in Canada can be difficult as there is always a sense of uncertainty when it comes to how long the vehicle will last you. Auction reports from Japan also do not show any mechanical information about the vehicle as they are visual inspections only. Therefore, it is essential to purchase a vehicle from a reputable dealer to ensure the best quality of your ride. At LINK RIDES JDM we have a facility in Chiba, Japan, allowing us to mechanically check over the vehicle before shipping it over to Canada. If there is an unknown problem with the vehicle at the time of purchase, the issue is likely to arise within 3 months of purchasing and driving the vehicle. LINK RIDES JDM provides a 6-month powertrain warranty allowing you to have piece of mind when purchasing an imported vehicle and becoming the first owner for it in Canada.
INCLUDED WARRANTY
The Warranty Provided On All Vehicles, Included in the $399 Doc Fee for every vehicle.
Powertrain Warranty Included (6-months Unlimited KM)
($1000 Max Claim for Each Claim Within 6-Months, able to claim multiple times within the 6-month period)
That Includes Engine, Transmission, Differential, Transfer Case (4×4 and AWD), Auxiliary Differential, Turbocharger, Supercharger, Seals and Gaskets, Wear and Tear, Car Rental, and Trip Interruptions.
The warranty is third-party and can be claimed at over 3000 locations across Canada.
Please note this is not a bumper to bumper warranty, it is for the powertrain components only, essentially the expensive stuff.
NO WARRANTY DISCOUNT
If you wish to skip out on the included powertrain warranty or would like a break on the Doc Fee, the standard $399 Doc Fee will be discounted $200 to $199 Therefore you can save $200 + Tax on any vehicle if you choose to opt out.
UPGRADES
We do not charge any upcharge on powertrain warranties, we sell quality vehicles, not warranties. Therefore, if you wish to upgrade your warranty, you only pay the difference between the one that is included and the upgraded one at dealer cost, allowing for greater piece of mind and more coverage or your vehicle for reasonable amounts.
Currently, an additional $350 will upgrade your warranty to (1 Year Unlimited KM / $3000 Max Per Claim / Multiple claims During 1 Year)
